Las Vegas police begin investigation over woman’s suspicious death
Las Vegas police are investigating what they call the suspicious death of a 19-year-old woman.
Metropolitan Police Department officers were called about 9 p.m. Friday to the Suites at 4855 Boulder Highway for reports of a dead body. The 19-year-old woman was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Metro Lt. Peter Kisfalvi said.
Metro is calling the woman’s death suspicious, and homicide investigators were requested to the scene Friday night. But as of early Saturday, Kisfalvi said Metro is “not treating it as a homicide until we get more information.”
No other details were immediately available.
