A man is in custody after Las Vegas police investigated a call that originated at the Rio on Monday morning.

About 7 a.m., a man in his late 20s was seen hitting a woman, pulling her hair and throwing her into a white four-door vehicle with out-of-state license plates, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon said.

The man was arrested without incident about 1:15 p.m., Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.

The circumstances surrounding the incident were unclear Monday evening and the man’s identity was unavailable, Meltzer said.

The woman involved was found, Metro said; her condition was unclear.

Metro continues to investigate.
