County museum hosts photography event
The Steampunk Photo Odyssey and Fashion Show will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of the Clark County Museum, 1830 S. Boulder Highway in Henderson.
Photo Odyssey is an annual opportunity for hobbyists and professional photographers to photograph vintage costumed models, trains and classic cars. The event includes strolling models and set vignettes that can be photographed throughout the day. A fashion show with steampunk and neo-Victorian fashions for men and women will be held in the early evening.
Tickets, priced from $10 to $60, can be purchased at www.retroscopefashions.com. Advance registration is required for models and photographers. Proceeds benefit the museum.
Mark Hall-Patton, museum administrator and history consultant for the TV show "Pawn Stars" will be available to answer questions.
