BETTE SAYS FAREWELL
Bette Midler ended her two-year run of "The Showgirl Must Go On" at Caesars Palace on Sunday, with help from Marie Osmond, Gladys Knight and Celine Dion, who sent a video. In the audience was Las Vegas headliners Wayne Newton, Rita Rudner, and George Wallace, along with boxing promoter Bob Arum and his wife Lovee. Paula Abdul was backstage during the show.
