HOLLY MADISON TO LEAVE ‘PEEPSHOW’ AT YEAR’S END

As reported by Vegas Confidential three weeks ago, Planet Hollywood headliner Holly Madison is leaving her “Peepshow” to pursue a new project in Las Vegas.

Madison has been cast in the lead role of the burlesque show since July 2009. Her last show will be Dec. 30, “Peepshow” announced today.

The former Playboy model told Vegas Confidential on May 9, the day she was unveiled as Miss Atomic Bomb, that she planned to leave the show but declined going into details.

The “Peepshow” Twitter site said there no plans to close the show, which opened in April 2009 with Kelly Monaco and Spice Girl Melanie Brown as co-headliners, Monaco as “Bo Peep” and Brown as “Peep Diva.”

Created by director-choreographer Jerry Mitchell, “Peepshow” closed in January of 2010 and when it reopened Madison was the sole female personality, co-starring with “American Idol” participant Josh Strickland as the male lead.

In January 2011, she went on a sabbatical after producers told the former star of “Girls Next Door” that she had to lose weight. Her personal assistant Angel Porrino filled in for her.
