KABC REPORTER SHOT IN HAND DURING LIVE REPORT
LOS ANGELES (KGO) -- A reporter for ABC7's sister-station in Los Angeles was shot in the hand while delivering a live weather report Saturday evening.
The weather reporter, identified by the Los Angeles Times as Leanne Suter, was shot in the hand with a pellet from a BB gun during her live weather report in Fontana, which is about an hour from Los Angeles.
Suter was taken to a nearby hospital and is said to be doing okay.
A statement released by KABC-TV General Manager Arnold Kleiner said the station is cooperating with law enforcement.
