‘RUNAWAY BRIDE’ CRYSTAL HARRIS AT WET REPUBLIC

Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris, who backed out of her wedding with 85-year-old Playboy founder Hugh Hefner last week, showed up in Las Vegas on Saturday. Harris said she was invited by Heidi Montag, who was hosting at Wet Republic, the pool venue at MGM Grand.  Harris, who was to have married Hefner on Saturday, said she was not being paid for the appearance and said emphatically, “I haven’t been paid any money for an interview nor will I ask for money for an interview.” She told Vegas Confidential  most of what’s being reported is “all rumors.”  Asked to respond to  tweets by Holly Madison, who called Harris’ Vegas trip “a new low,” Harris took the high road, saying “If anyone knows  what a breakup with Hef is like, she would.” (Photo courtesy Erik Kabik/www.erik@erikkabik.com)
