SHAQ CELEBRATES RETIREMENT AT MOON NIGHTCLUB




NBA great Shaquille O'Neal celebrated his retirement Saturday night at Moon Nightclub (Palms). During the party he had DJ Exodus play a Michael Jackson tribute on what was the second anniversary of Jackson's death. Shaquille O’Neal paid tribute to Michael Jackson Saturday by having DJ Exodus play some of the King of Pop’s biggest hits at Moon nightclub at the Palms.
Many in the capacity crowd sang along on what was the second anniversary of Jackson’s death.Earlier Shaq and DJ Pauly J, walked the red, white and green carpet (a nod to Pauly G’s Italian descent) at the Palms.
O’Neal, who recently retired after 18 NBA seasons, dined at Nove Italiano, where he ordered a family style portion of Chef Geno Bernardo’s Spaghetti Bolognese as his entrée.
Later, Shaq spent 30 minutes on the mic at Moon and had visits from New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, illusionist Criss Angel and DJ Pauly.
Shaq’s career highlights were played on screens and he was presented with a cake from Caked Las Vegas that included the Superman logo.
He included a stop at N9ne Steakhouse to sign chef Barry Dakake’s “shakedown” door.
