ZOWIE BOWIE LEAVING PALMS; ‘LORD OF DANCE’ BOOKED IN WYRICK THEATRE

The duo Zowie Bowie is leaving the Palms Lounge at the end of August and Michael Flatley's "Lord of the Dance" is returning to Las Vegas.

Zowie Bowie publicist Steve Honig confirmed the development Monday, adding that "we are looking at making an announcement soon" on another deal, rumored to be on the Strip. Zowie Bowie opened at the Palms Lounge in early March.

It was announced Monday that "Lord of the Dance" has a June 25-August 16 engagement in the 425-seat Steve Wyrick Theatre at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.

Zowie Bowie has been interested in a venue where they could add their Vintage Vegas show to their high-energy act, Honig said.
