DJ, drummer make good mix at LAX
November 16, 2007 - 10:00 pm
What do you get when you put one of the world's best DJs and one of the world's best drummers together in one nightclub?
An absolute musical treat would be the best way to describe it.
Partygoers got that last Friday when drummer Travis Barker -- once part of the Blink 182 -- and DJ AM delivered a raucous performance at LAX inside the Luxor.
The pair teamed up on such songs as "Crank That" by Soulja Boy Tell'em as the crowd danced and partied along with them.
Also at LAX for the special performance were Barker's wife, Shanna Moakler, illuisionist Criss Angel and actress Rachel Taylor, one of the stars of "Transformers."
Barker was back in town Tuesday to celebrate his 32nd birthday at Pure inside Caesars Palace.
Supermodel Nemcova gets super impatient at Jet -- Supermodel Petra Nemcova showed a bit of her diva side last Friday at Jet.
Sources told me Nemcova refused to wait in line to have her identification checked to get into The Mirage hot spot for the Koi restaurant grand opening after-party. So the impatient Czechoslovakian model bailed from the line and head to LAX instead.
Clooney's Moon cocktail server visits Palms -- Last Saturday was kind of a homecoming for Sarah Larson.
The 28-year-old brunette cocktail server at the Palms attended the Maroon 5 concert at The Pearl, along with several celebrities. Larson, who has worked for N9NE Group's Ghostbar and Moon nightclub for almost three years, has been away from work after her relationship with George Clooney heated up over the summer.
Larson traveled across the world with Clooney during a promotional tour for his latest movie, "Michael Clayton." The two met at the "Oceans Thirteen" premiere on June 6 at the Palms.

Sightings of the week -- Singer Avril Lavigne highlighted the cast of celebrities stopping by Jet last Friday for the Koi restaurant grand opening after-party.
Lavigne was joined by husband/Sum 41 member Deryck Whibley. Also at The Mirage hot spot were actor Jeremy Piven from HBO's "Entourage," former "Beverly Hills 90210" star/"Dancing with the Stars" alum Ian Ziering, newlyweds Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon, actress Nicole Eggert of "Baywatch" fame and "Beacher's Madhouse" star Jeff Beacher.
