Hilton offers ‘Wheel of Winners’; Stations, Fiestas let you ‘Play Away’

At 7:30 p.m. every Thursday in the Las Vegas Hilton Space Quest Casino, five players will be chosen to spin the "Wheel of Winners" for $1,000-$5,000. If one of the winners lands on a $1,000 "Drop and Win" bonus, he can receive additional cash and prizes. Resort Discovery Club members earn one free entry every day they play and receive an additional entry after 40 minutes of play on slots or table games. The casino is running several additional promotions, including a jacket giveaway to anyone hitting select hands at the tables (7-7-7 at blackjack, Ace plus Eight of Diamonds at Baccarat) or getting a Royal Flush (max coins, no wild cards) or a $1,000 jackpot on slots.

Today, Saturday and Feb. 27 and 28, all Station and Fiesta casinos are running a "Play Away Giveaway" giving Boarding Pass or Amigo Club members the chance to earn a variety of gifts without redeeming their points. Players earning 200 points on slots ($200 coin-in on slots) or 400 points ($400-$1,600 coin-in on video poker) in one day can pick up a T-shirt. Also available is an embroidered golf shirt for earning 1,000 one-day points on slots or 2,000 points on video poker, rolling luggage (7,500/15,000 points) or even a "Luxury Staycation," which includes two suite nights at Red Rock Resort or Green Valley Ranch plus $1,000 in comps (100,000/150,000). All gifts (up to a maximum of three per day) must be redeemed on the day the points were earned and at the same Station or Fiesta property where they were earned.

South Point club members can pick up two free NASCAR qualifying day tickets through Feb. 27 (or while supplies last).

The Stratosphere is celebrating NASCAR weekend (Thursday through March 1) with several activities, including a Kasey Kahne autograph session on Thursday, a meet the NASCAR drivers on Feb. 27 and special drawings for NASCAR and Coca-Cola merchandise on Thursday (3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.), Feb. 27 (6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.) and Feb. 28 (8 p.m. and 9 p.m.). A.C.E. Reward Club members can earn tickets playing the machines, tables or in the sports book or poker room.

Cannery members earning 999 C.A.N. Club points ($333 coin-in on slots, $500 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required) on Saturday will receive a trinket box containing up to $1,000 in cash or free slot play. Anyone receiving the minimum $5 cash can exchange it for $10 in free play. The Eastside Cannery is doing the exact same promotion on Tuesday, and the Rampart also is giving away cash/free play trinket boxes on Wednesday to players earning 300 points ($600 coin-in on slots, $1,200 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required). There is a limit of one prize per customer per day at each of these promotions.
