Jet to kick off Hard Rock Hotel pool concert series April 27

The new "Friday Night Live" concert series at the pool at the Hard Rock Hotel debuts April 27 with Australian rockers Jet. Tickets are $22 and go on sale at noon Saturday at the Hard Rock box office, 4455 Paradise Road, and Ticketmaster outlets. The following shows also go on sale at that time:

Seminal prog rockers Rush headline the MGM Grand Garden arena on July 28. Tickets are $50, $75 and $125 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the MGM Grand box office, 3799 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and Ticketmaster outlets.

Vegas rock radio station Area 108's "The Gathering" concert takes place at the Orleans Arena on May 18, with the Bravery, They Might Be Giants, Shiny Toy Guns, Silversun Pickups and Plain White T's. Roots rockers Cross Canadian Ragweed tumble into the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on May 10, with Mickey and the Motors.
