A look at some of the DVDs, CDs and books hitting stores this week:

DVDs

"Battleship" (PG-13): When aliens attack in the middle of naval war games, it's up to Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Rihanna and Brooklyn Decker to save the day in this action spectacle ever so loosely based on the board game.

Elsewhere, Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union and Taraji P. Henson lead the cast of "Think Like a Man" (PG-13), based on the self-help book by Steve Harvey. A Marine (Zac Efron) romances a single mom (Taylor Schilling) in "The Lucky One" (PG-13), based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. Hugh Grant, Jeremy Piven and Salma Hayek lend their voices to the stop-motion "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" (PG), from Britain's Aardman Animations. And a dissatisfied wife (Diane Keaton) befriends a lost dog in "Darling Companion" (PG-13), a comedy-drama from "The Big Chill" writer-director Lawrence Kasdan.

Topping today's TV transfers: "Homeland: The Complete First Season," "Sons of Anarchy: Season Four," "The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season," "Boardwalk Empire: The Complete Second Season," "Once Upon a Time: The Complete First Season," "Two and a Half Men: The Complete Ninth Season," "In Plain Sight: Season Five," "Jersey Shore: Season Five (Uncensored)" and "Streets of San Francisco: The Complete Fourth Season."
