Latest DVDs, CDs, books: March 22, 2011

A look at some of the DVDs, CDs and books hitting stores this week:

DVDS

"The Tourist" (PG-13): An American tourist (Johnny Depp) finds himself on the run after he encounters a mysterious woman (Angelina Jolie) while traveling through Europe in this thriller directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck.

For the kiddies, Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake lend their voices to Yogi and Boo-Boo, respectively, in the live action/animation film "Yogi Bear" (PG), in which the picnic basket-stealer and his best pal team up with Ranger Smith (Tom Cavanagh) to save Jellystone Park from closing.

In "How Do You Know" (PG-13), Lisa (Reese Witherspoon) finds herself torn between a baseball pitcher (Owen Wilson) and a businessman (Paul Rudd) in this ensemble comedy also starring Jack Nicholson.

Also in stores: A group of friends seek the source of strange lights in the Los Angeles sky in the sci-fi thriller "Skyline" (PG-13), starring Eric Balfour and Donald Faison.

CDS

The Strokes, "Angles": They kicked much butt playing five new songs live here a few weeks back, and now you can own 'em like The Strokes owned the crowd at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

A strong collection of tunes that range from sub-reggae larks to gritty garage rock missives, this one comes at you from all "Angles," hence the title.

Get it? Good.

Now go out and get it for reals.
