Faugno loads showcase with R&B classics
Rick Faugno has stepped out of his showcase role in "Jersey Boys" twice now, first for a side gig saluting his crooner influences, and now for one that's more the music Frankie Valli would sing.
"It's kind of like a modern Sammy Davis Jr. kind of club act," Faugno says of "Body and Soul," a showcase loaded with R&B and pop classics.
Faugno sings at 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Shimmer Cabaret at the Las Vegas Hilton, 3000 Paradise Road. Tickets are $48.85-$59.85; call 732-5755.
