Kiss announces residency at Hard Rock Hotel

After weeks of speculation, Kiss has officially announced its residency at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. Kiss Rocks Vegas will take over the venue from Nov. 5 to 23.

The first residency in the hard rock band’s 40-year career will encompass nine shows, with tickets for the concerts going on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

What will the shows entail?

Will Kiss take a page from summer tour mate Def Leppard and mix seldom played album cuts and B-sides in with all the requisite hits like the British rock group did during its residency at The Joint?

Or, will the Kiss concerts be more like those staged by Guns N’ Roses and Motley Crue during their extended stays at the Hard Rock, where they essentially delivered amped-up versions of their regular touring stage show?
