Where there’s smoke there’s Katchafire

With such self-explanatory songs as “Sensimillia” and “Collie Herb Man,” New Zealand roots reggae export Katchafire is probably not the band to catch live if your workplace employs mandatory drug testing, as a contact high awaits.

True to form, the band’s tunes register like a few puffs of their marijuana muse, relaxing the senses, taking the edge off.

Their repertoire isn’t entirely laid-back, however, as Katchafire does come with a sax-fired bounce from time to time to get pulse rates back up.

Hey, gotta burn off a few of those of munchies-derived calories every now and then.
