Charleston Heights hosts dance concert

The Carl Grove Combo will play dance music from the 1940s to the 1970s from 7 to 10 p.m. Sept. 1 in the ballroom at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St.

The combo's playlist ranges from swing and foxtrots to Latin and jazz.

The group is made up of tenor saxophonist Carl Grove, trumpet and flugelhorn player Dick Guider, drummer Bob Grundy, keyboardist Peter Urquidi and vocalist Marsha K.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 on the day of performance. For more information, call 229-6383.
