Porn star hosting magazine party at Jet

What started out as an idea has turned into a dream come true for Scott Santos.

And tonight, Santos and the rest of the Strip Las Vegas magazine family will celebrate their two-year anniversary at Jet nightclub inside The Mirage.

Santos, the chief executive officer and creator of the publication some have dubbed the “Playboy of Las Vegas,” will have a handful of adult entertainment celebrities on hand for the festivities, including porn star Jesse Jane, who will host the party.

Also scheduled to be at Jet are Kirsten Price, Andrea Lowell and Jamie Lynn, as well as others who have graced Strip’s pages.

Strip’s anniversary is part of the Adult Entertainment Expo and awards show lineup that started Wednesday and ends Saturday.

LAX kicks off $100,000 hottest model search — While the temperatures remained cool outside, things heated up inside LAX Wednesday as the venue started its $100,000 search to crown its first Miss LAX.

The popular Luxor nightclub kicked off the competition with some of the hottest swimwear models in attendance. The showdowns will take place every Wednesday, leading up to the March 26 finale where the winner will be crowned and receive a $50,000 grand prize. The runners-up will split the remaining $50,000.

The victor also will make a guest appearance on the A&E TV show “Mindfreak,” featuring illusionist Criss Angel.

Each week a panel of celebrity judges will narrow down the field. The public will be able to vote for its favorite models at www.laxthenightclub.com.

Electra hosts at Studio 54; Navarro here tonight — Carmen Electra was in town Jan. 4 to help celebrate the release of her latest fitness videos, “Carmen Electra’s Aerobic Striptease: Vegas Strip” and “In the Bedroom.”

Both of Electra’s new DVDs were filmed at the MGM Grand.

And just a week later, Electra’s ex-husband Dave Navarro hits Las Vegas to host his own event. The rocker will headline the evening’s festivities tonight at Pure nightclub inside Caesars Palace.

Sightings of the weekend — Actor John Krasinski was spotted Saturday at Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel. Also at Body English was MTV personality Andy Milonakis.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards and Michigan Wolverines running back Mike Hart checked out Tryst on Saturday at Wynn Las Vegas.

Palms owner George Maloof and former Miss Nevada Katie Rees were spotted together Saturday at Privé inside Planet Hollywood Resort.

MTV reality star Kristin Cavallari, in town last weekend to celebrate her 21st birthday, was seen getting cozy with former flame Matt Leinart, the former Southern California star now playing for the Arizona Cardinals, Jan. 4 at Pure.

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton made the rounds, hitting Blush Boutique Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas on Jan. 4 before hitting Privé on Saturday.

MTV reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who recently called off their engagement, were spotted dining with Hilton Jan. 4 at Stack restaurant before the pair hosted the party at Jet inside The Mirage.

Singer John Legend celebrated his 29th birthday Jan. 4 with his girlfriend, model Christine Tiegen, at The Bank inside Bellagio.
