RJ now has bigger business section and country’s largest comics section

The Review-Journal today unveils expanded Business, Comics sections

The Comics section includes 10 new titles and makes it the largest such section in the country.

All of your current favorites remain part of the lineup. The new titles are: “Phoebe and Her Unicorn,” “F Minus,” “Marmaduke,” “SixChix,” “The Pajama Diaries,” “Carpe Diem,” “La Cucaracha,” “Take It From The Tinkersons” and “Dustin.”

The section also includes “Sally Forth” and “The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee,” which previously appeared only on weekdays. Another addition is “Color Me Posh,” a panel of abstract patterns awaiting the creative touch of a pencil, pen, crayon or paint. All of the section’s offerings are accessible online at reviewjournal.com/comics.

“With the world in turmoil and bad news abounding, we can’t think of a better time to significantly increase our Sunday comics by two pages,” Editor-in-Chief Keith Moyer said. “We hope they provide an even longer respite to readers looking for a reason to chuckle.”

The Business section now features two additional pages each Sunday. Today’s offerings include a list of the 50 highest-paid executives in Las Vegas plus columns on personal finance, the stock market and personal technology.

If you have comments or suggestions, please email Peter Johnson, deputy editor for local news and business, at pjohnson@reviewjournal.com.

“Our readers have asked for a bigger, better Sunday business section, so we’re making that happen,” Moyer said.
