Stations, Fiestas offer ‘$1,000,000 Holiday Caddys and Cash Giveaway’

Beginning today and running through Jan. 2, Station and Fiesta casinos' "$1,000,000 Holiday Caddys and Cash Giveaway" will pay 500 winners $1,000 cash (50 at each of their 10 casino locations), plus every day, someone will get to choose the Cadillac of his choice (SRX, DTS, CTS Coupe, CTS, or Escalade). Drawings take play at 8:15 p.m., and winners must be present. Tickets can be earned playing the machines, table games, bingo, live poker or through select race and sports bets. All players receive 10 entries when they swipe their cards.

The Suncoast is giving away $50,000 this week via special drawings Sunday-Thursday. Entries can be earned at both slots and tables, and there will be five winners at three daily drawings (4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.).

Some notes on the newly-opened The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas: The video poker is looser than average for the Strip, with quarter 8/6 Jacks or Better, $1/$2 9/5 Jacks or Better as well as 9/6 Jacks or Better and NSU Deuces Wild in the high limit area. The cutting-edge tiered Identity Club (slot club) awards points for reels, video poker (more than 3x play is required to earn a point than at slots), table games as well as for money spent on hotel rooms, restaurants, etc. Please be aware, however, that the club does not reward cashback, just comps (on a rather tight schedule). The Cosmopolitan also is running a free play promotion, but be aware that the club does not reward the same free-play and/or discretionary comps to all players, even if they ran the same amount of money through the same machine.

From 8 p.m.-midnight on New Year's Eve, Jerry's Nugget will give away $5,000 via hot seat drawings. Randomly chosen winners will receive $50-$100 each with additional money going to players sitting to winner's left and right.
