Sitar music on tap at World Vibration series
A tribute to Indian and Middle Eastern traditions will take place during the World Vibration Concert Series at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive.
Master sitar and tabla musician Shafaatullah Khan, along with Sandip Thanki, Bishir Hijazi and Faruq Imtiaz, will perform compositions based on the 13th century poetry of Jalaaluddin Rumi.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children and seniors.
