Ballots for Best of Las Vegas available online
December 31, 2013 - 1:10 pm
The start of a new year signals the start of a new edition of the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s annual Best of Las Vegas readers’ poll.
For those who can’t wait for the print ballot to appear in a special section of the Jan. 26 newspaper, the traditional write-in ballot can be found online at reviewjournal.com/best-las-vegas-voting.
This year’s ballot has more than 200 opportunities to proclaim favorites in the categories of Casinos and Hotels, Arts and Entertainment, Eat and Drink, Shopping and Services, and People.
The rules are simple and can be boiled down to two words: Play fair. Online voters will be asked to register to avoid multiple voting, and paper ballots deemed to be part of a ballot-stuffing campaign will be rejected.
Readers have until Feb. 3 to submit their votes — either online or on the paper ballot. The winners will be announced in the Best of Las Vegas magazine, which will appear in the Review-Journal on March 30.
Those who provide complete contact information will be entered in a drawing for prizes. Winners will be announced in the magazine.
In addition to the annual readers’ poll, the Review-Journal offers an ongoing Best of Las Vegas app that identifies trends in popular places and offers participants a chance to write reviews. Ongoing voting is available at m.bestoflasvegas.com.
