Brookman Elementary glows with achievement — PHOTOS

On Friday, 20,000 glow sticks were strung together and laid out on the playground during a world-record attempt at Brookman Elementary School in Las Vegas. The glow sticks represent each book the students read and tested on, with an 80 percent comprehension or better from September 2015 to January 2016. The event featured comedic magician Alana London.
