Ice cream shop Baskin-Robbins turns 70 on August 31, and participating stores will be dishing out cheap ice cream scoops to get you in on the action. To celebrate, scoops will be $1.31 each — a reference to their 31 legacy flavors.

The scoops regularly cost between $2.50 and $3.00. Sundaes are also 31 percent off, according to a press release.

If you're looking to venture out away from the normal chocolate, vanilla or praline ice cream cones, try the "Very Berry Strawberry," "Pralines 'n Cream" or "Wild 'n Reckless."
