Dad shames parents who publicly humiliate their kids — VIDEO

Some parents and pet owners are known for a variety of public shaming on the Internet, and it often carries into real life when the punishment involves a child or teen’s head being shaved.

A Fort Lauderdale, Fla., man made a video of his own with his child, threatening to shave his son’s head.

“There’s no way I would ever embarrass my son like that,” Wayman Gresham says in the clip before letting his son walk away and turning the subject to what he says good parenting really is.

“Good parenting starts before he even gets to the point of being out of control. Good parenting is getting up in the middle of the night, getting up in the middle of the night and praying for your child,” he said. “Good parenting is letting your child know that you love them, regardless of what they are and who they are and showing them the way by example.”

The video, shared more than 18 million times, was posted May 28. Check it out below.
