Haute Doggery hosts Hot-Diggity Dachshund rescue event in Las Vegas — VIDEO

Joining forces with the Las Vegas Hot-Diggity Dachshund Club & Rescue (LVHDDCR) to “save the world, one wiener dog at a time,” the Haute Doggery restaurant held a Dachshund adoption event Friday at the Linq Promenade.

The pet-friendly event allowed guests to mix and mingle with rescue pups looking for their furever homes.

To help raise money towards the care of LVHDDCR’s Dachshunds, the event also included a one-of-a-kind photo opportunity. Some of the “most eligible adoptees” dressed to the nines in Haute Doggery-inspired couture outfits and posed with fans (attendees) for a small donation to the rescue.

In honor of the day’s festivities, the Haute Doggery cooked up a specialty hot dog just for the event — the Dachshund Dog. A portion of the proceeds from each specialty hot dog sold benefitted the rescue.
