Fruit trees in the desert will be discussed at library Sunday

Master gardener Don Fabbi will discuss “Fruit Trees: Selection and Care for Desert Climates” at 2 p.m. Sunday at the West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd. The class is free and open to the public.

Fabbi will talk about selecting the best varieties, planting, thinning and proper planting and care. He has 65 years of experience in the cultivation of flowers, fruit trees and vegetables native and non-native to this desert region.
