Workshop to focus on using native, desert-adapted plants

Clark County Cooperative Extension is presenting a workshop titled “Gardening in Small Places: Using Native and Desert Adapted Plants in the Landscape” from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 21 at the Lifelong Learning Center, 8050 Paradise Road.

The instructor, M.L. Robinson, will show and tell participants about the variety of plants that can be used to have a beautiful and colorful desert garden while saving money, energy and water.

Class space is limited and preregistration is required. There is a $25 fee, which includes class materials.
