‘Last Comic’ picks winner in Vegas
August 7, 2008 - 9:00 pm
The auditions may have lasted longer than the actual competition, but "Last Comic Standing" crowns its winner today (8 p.m., KVBC-TV, Channel 3) at Paris Las Vegas.
Will it be the polished observations of Louis Ramey? The edgy wholesomeness of Jeff Dye? The dry-wit-with-a-double-bass approach of Jim Tavaré? The frat-boy impressions of Marcus? Or the frat-boy-with-breasts humor of Iliza Shlesinger ?
The winner will receive $250,000, a talent deal from NBC and a spot in "Jubilee!" at Bally's.
The 90-minute finale also will include "Last Comic Standing" campaign ads filmed by Barack Obama and John McCain.
Tickets for the show already have been distributed, but if you still want to see the finalists, the "Last Comic Standing" Tour comes to the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on Nov. 14.
