Now you can eat and drink ‘Star Wars,’ too

Did you ever wonder about those cinnamon-roll-looking things on Princess Leia's head? Well, re-imagine them as buns — slider buns — and you actually can partake of them this week at Rx Boiler Room at the Shoppes at Mandalay Place.

To get everybody in the spirit for the Friday opening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," the restaurant will feature Princess Leia's Buns (two meatball sliders with arugula pesto and provolone), Jaba Hutt Dogs (seafood hot doggies with chipotle aioli, cabbage slaw and potato chips), Darth Vader Tots (house-made tater tots with tartar sauce) and Wookie Cookies (two chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches) for $8 each.

And, of course, there are cocktails to go with them, such as the YO-Duh (Woody Creek vodka, green Chartreuse, absinthe, lemon juice and thyme syrup), Skywalker Smash (Bacardi Silver, habanero bitters, peach cordial, sauvignon blanc and blueberries), Vader-Ade (Johnny Walker Black, Orangerie aperitif, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, Dubonnet and lime juice) and the Qui-Gon Gin (gingerbeer, cardamom bitters, lime juice, Azzurre gin and Suze), for $12 each.

It's all available from 5 to 7 p.m. daily through Sunday.
