Now you’ll be able to upload 60-second clips to Instagram — VIDEO

Instagram says users will soon have flexibility to upload videos that are 60 seconds long.

The online scrapbook-like service is designed to “capture and share the world’s moments,” and the company is looking to expand its video capabilities.

“In the last six months, the time people spent watching video increased by more than 40 percent,” Instagram wrote in a blog post. “And longer videos mean more diverse stories from the accounts you love.”

The new feature rolls out today and will become widely available in the coming months.

You’ll also be able to splice together video clips from your phone’s camera roll if you’re using iOS
