Rosemary Peters interviewed students at Bishop Gorman High School.
ERICA LEE, senior
"I was talking to my friend about the SAT's. He asked me what my grade was, and I begrudingly told him. He suddenly got really happy and said that we had the same scores, and I accidentally said, 'Yeah ... but I'm taking the SAT's again because I want to go to a good college!' ''
NICOLE SALAME, junior
"I thought I was talking to my friend one day in the halls, but I was actually talking to my friend's younger sister who looks just like her. Only, I had never met her sister yet, so we had no idea who the other was at the time. She was like, 'Do I know you?' ''
MEGAN MILLER, senior
"My dad used to be governor, and one time there were reporters at my house for a press conference. I went downstairs to talk to them, and when they asked where my parents were, I said, 'Sorry my mom's not here. She's upstairs naked in the shower.' "
VINCENT DELGADO, senior
"One time this guy accidentally bumped into me and knocked me over. I was angry, so I yelled at him, 'What are you blind?' He looked upset and then said, 'Actually, yeah, I am.' ''
JOEY FOGLIA, sophomore
"I was in line at Disneyland, and my brother was annoying me, so I told him, 'Stop acting retarded.' To my dismay there was a mentally challenged person in line right behind me. I felt awful. I'll never say that word to this day."
AARON GRANATI, sophomore
"I just met a girl and I went home and looked at her MySpace. She had some really pretty pictures on it. We started hanging out, but when I saw her in person she never looked as pretty as she did in her MySpace pictures. One day she dressed up and looked gorgeous, and I turned to my friend and said, 'She finally looks like her MySpace pictures!' and the girl overheard me."
