Terror at the Table
We're suckers for Halloween. Apparently, so is Sur La Table, which offers this very cool way to make even the boring ol' ritual of having a good breakfast a bit creepier.
Just use this set of four Skeleton Spreaders to transfer your butter, margarine, marmalade, cream cheese or peanut butter to the carbohydrate of your choice. When they're not in use, the spreaders rest comfortably in an incongruously stylish ceramic convertible.
The blades are stainless steel, and they should be hand-washed. And who says they have to be put away after Halloween? We suspect that some people -- Tim Burton comes to mind -- use 'em year-round.
