Here are a few things in news, entertainment and pop culture that we've been talking about lately.

■ Lindsay Lohan's u25B6 Playboy pictorial hits the streets. What once would have been titillating is now just kind of sad.

■ Alec Baldwin appears in a "Saturday Night Live" skit mocking his ejection from an airline flight for playing an iPhone game. Oh, Alec, and you used to be the normal Baldwin ...

■ Southern Nevada Health District officials test fecal samples from runners in the Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon to determine why they became sick. One of those rare occasions when our choice of career is looking pretty darned good.

■ Police recover a stolen guitar given by Pearl Jam to a gravely ill teenager, but find that the band members' autographs have been sanded off. Police are seeking an appalling human being with a cleaning compulsion.
