Here are a few things in news, entertainment and pop culture that we've been talking about lately.

■ Occasional Las Vegas performer Claire Sinclair,19, becomes the youngest Playboy Playmate of the Year in more than four decades. Beats working a summer gig at Tastee-Freez, we suppose.

■ Sen. Harry Reid dislocates his shoulder during a jog. It was his right shoulder, and we mention that only to give the rabid Internet multitudes something to obsess over.

■ Jesse James tells Howard Stern that current paramour Kat Von D is better in bed than ex-wife Sandra Bullock. Reaffirming Sandy's decision to dump him every time he opens his mouth.
