Here are a few things in news, sports, entertainment and pop culture that we've been talking about lately.

■ The Clark County Museum unveils an exhibit that charts the evolution of office equipment from carbon paper to computers. Don't miss the "Hall of Obsolete Employees."

■ Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris u25B6, 25, calls off her wedding to 85-year-old Playboy head Hugh Hefner. Just as well; those May/December-plus-60-years relationships never work out.

■ The NBA cancels its Las Vegas Summer League for 2011. They'd better come up with something else to keep the players occupied this summer, idle hands and all.

■ Gov. Brian Sandoval signs a bill that will again permit smoking in bars that serve food. The cholesterol and fat in your double-bacon cheeseburger once again become the least of your health worries when dining out.
