I recall the days when I wrote about sports and covered baseball, in particular the Brooklyn Dodgers, for the Star-Ledger in Newark, N.J.
So, what’s the greatest major championship ever played? My choice is the 2000 U.S. Open played at Pebble with Tiger winning by 15. My friend’s is the 1960 U. S. Open played at Cherry Hills Country Club in Colorado. What?
Question: We have a crape myrtle tree in our southwest back yard. It gets plenty of water, and I fertilized it last month with some Miracle Grow flowering fertilizer. At the time, there were some burned edges on some of the leaves and some yellowing. Now it is really burned on the edges of all of the leaves with yellowing. HELP!
Yep, you and young George Washington both learned a long, long time ago that lying was wrong. Not only did it hurt people, but it also got you into trouble. And no matter how much you tried to cover things up, no matter how “white” your little lie was, you always got caught in the end.
