A man was arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing at a McDonald’s restaurant in Primm on Sunday morning, according to Las Vegas police.
Justin Weiss, 33, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol about 60 miles south of the McDonald’s where the stabbing occurred.
Two traveling associates stopped at the quick service restaurant for breakfast, and an argument broke out, police said. First responders found a man suffering from a stab wound in the neck inside the fast-food restaurant, 100 Primm Blvd., about 9:15 a.m.
He died during a helicopter ride to a hospital.
Weiss fled the scene and was stopped when his vehicle matched a description put out by metro, police said. He is being detained in California and is awaiting extradition to Clark County where he will face a murder charge.
The man who died will be identified by the Clark County coroner’s office once his family has been notified.
