1 person dies in northwest valley multiple-vehicle crash

At least one person died and several people were injured Friday afternoon in a multiple-vehicle crash in the northwest valley, according to Las Vegas police.
The crash was reported about 3:15 p.m at the intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard, police said.
Few details were available, but at least six vehicles were involved and police said two of them rolled over.
Metro’s fatal unit is investigating the crash and the intersection was closed for several hours, police said.
