112 cats rescued from ‘uninhabitable’ home
Over 100 cats were rescued from a north valley home deemed “uninhabitable” on Thursday morning, North Las Vegas police said.
Animal control was called to the 800 block of Harp Way, near Martin Luther King Boulevard and West Cheyenne Avenue, police said.
Officers discovered a 47-year-old woman in the home that had a broken air conditioner, among other issues, police said.
Animal control took 112 cats and a dog from the home to Lied Animal Shelter. Charges are pending in the investigation, police said.
