2 hospitalized after being hit by car in southern Las Vegas

A man and a woman were taken to the hospital Thursday morning after they were struck by a car while walking on a southern Las Vegas Valley street, police said.

The crash happened about 7 a.m in the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Amigo Street, near Bermuda Road, Metro Officer Laura Meltzer said.

Both pedestrians were taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Sienna campus with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.

The driver of the car remained at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing, Meltzer said.
