4 displaced after mobile home fire in northeast Las Vegas
Three fire departments responded to a mobile home fire in northeast Las Vegas about 1 a.m. Monday.
The Clark County, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas fire departments responded to the fire reported at Arcadia Mobile Home Park, 1832 Walnut Road, Space 26, Clark County Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Larry Haydu said.
The caller reporting the fire originally said two children were missing, Haydu said, but they have been accounted for. Arriving crews “reported heavy fire” at the single-wide mobile home, he said. The fire was put out at 1:13 a.m., but the home was a total loss, he said. No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross assisted with the residents displaced by the fire, including two adults and two children, Haydu said.
An estimate for the cost of damage was not made, he said, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
