Boy, 3, who died in south Las Vegas identified
The 3-year-old boy who died in the south valley Friday has been identified by the Clark County coroner.
Booker Lewis III of Las Vegas was reportedly unresponsive and taken to Mountain View Hospital where he died.
At 12:35 p.m., police received a call about an unresponsive child at the 8100 block of Villa Finestra Drive, near the intersection of West Cheyenne Avenue and North Buffalo Drive, Metro spokesman Jesse Roybal said.
Neglect and abuse detectives are investigating the incident, but Roybal said this is the standard protocol in child deaths.
The coroner will determine Lewis’s cause and manner of death.
