The Clark County coroner on Monday identified the dead man with a possible gunshot wound police found Friday morning in the south central valley.
Metropolitan Police Department officers found Daniel Cruz, 53, at about 10:40 a.m. in the desert area of Las Vegas Boulevard South between West Pebble Road and West Agate Avenue, spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
The case is under investigation.
