August 14, 2014 - 11:58 am
The man found dead in a Henderson public pool in July committed suicide by drowning, the Clark County Coroner’s office said Thursday.
Daniel Ross Jeffries, 58, of Henderson, was discovered early July 17 by a Wells Outdoor Swimming Pool employee, near Sunset Road and Boulder Highway, a Henderson spokeswoman said.
Multiple factors determined Jeffries’ death was a suicide, including the autopsy and statements Jeffries’ made that he intended to take his life, coroner Mike Murphy said.
