Crash in northwest valley sends three to hospital

A crash involving multiple vehicles has sent three to the hospital and restricted traffic in the northwest valley on Monday.

Metro received a call at about 3:50 p.m. regarding an injury accident near the intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and South Jones Boulevard. Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said that two adults and one child were transported to a hospital’s trauma center.

Traffic is restricted in the area, and Meltzer suggests using a different route of travel in the area.

No further details were immediately available.
