The French Market Buffet plans to offer an Easter Day Champagne Brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave., for $16.99 for B Connected members and $19.99 for nonmembers. Easter dinner will be the same price from 4 p.m. to close.

BONEFISH GRILL RAISES MORE THAN $8,000 FOR OLIVE CREST

A grand opening charity event for Bonefish Grill at Town Square Las Vegas, 6527 Las Vegas Blvd. South, raised more than $8,000 for nonprofit Olive Crest on March 16. Families can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny, and during brunch, the Easter Bunny and his friends will visit tables, inviting children to partake in the Easter egg hunt. Twin Peaks Restaurant has opened its first Las Vegas location at 3717 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Suite 285.

SOUTH POINT WELCOMES ZENSHIN ASIAN RESTAURANT

Zenshin Asian Restaurant has opened inside the South Point, 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

The Japanese restaurant hosted a grand opening March 20 with Taiko drummers and a traditional sake barrel-opening ceremony.

The menu includes sashimi, nigiri and sushi rolls, as well as garlic chicken, oxtail soup, miso ramen and barbecue grilled beef short ribs.

Hours are from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

PROJECT DINNER TABLE SELLING TICKETS
FOR APRIL 20 EVENT

Project Dinner Table is now selling tickets for its first dinner of the 2013 season, planned for April 20 at the Neon Museum, featuring chefs from the MGM Grand.

Charitable gifts will support the Contemporary Arts Center and Neon Museum, 770 Las Vegas Blvd. North. More details will be announced soon.

For the first time, Project Dinner Table is offering an annual membership package for $39. Members will receive special advantages and offers throughout the year. Four additional member events will also be planned.

Tickets for the April 20 event are $175 for members and $190 for nonmembers. Ticket packages are also available for a season pass for all six community dinners, plus an annual membership for $900, and a half-season pass for $516 that includes three dinners of the purchaser’s choice and a membership. GOLDEN NUGGET PLANS WINE REVOLUTION EVENT IN APRIL

The Golden Nugget, 129 Fremont St., plans to host the fifth annual Wine Revolution North America vs. South America April 12-14, bringing together consumers, winemakers and winery owners with poolside receptions, wine tastings and silent and live wine auctions.

Wine from Two Hemispheres: A Golden Nugget Las Vegas Signature Wine Dinner is planned for 7 p.m. April 12 at the Tank pool deck. It will feature Argentinean winery Valentin Bianchi and California boutique wineries Two Angels, Eponymous and Angels Secret.

Reservations can be made for $95 and include admission to the Poolside Champagne & Wine Kick-off Reception at the H2O poolside bar. The reception is set from 8 to 10 p.m., and individual tickets are available for $35.

Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse plans to host Introduction To South American Wines at noon April 13 with master sommelier Larry Stone. Tickets are $35.

A Cabernet Contrast: North vs South America is set for 2:30 p.m. in the steakhouse and will explore the relationship between cabernet from both hemispheres. Tickets are $45.

Tickets can be purchased for both events for $75.

The Grand Tasting, a showdown between 120 wine selections from California, Chile and Argentina, is set for 7 to 10 p.m. April 13 in The Grand. Appetizers, live music, barrel tastings and more are planned. Tickets are $100.

A Champagne and Jazz Brunch is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 14 in The Grand. A live auction featuring wine lots, large format collector’s bottles and more is planned. Tickets are $100.

MOTLEY BREWS TO PRESENT
FESTIVAL OF BEER APRIL 27 AT SUNSET PARK

Motley Brews plans to present the Third Annual Great Vegas Festival of Beer from 3 to 7 p.m. April 27 at Sunset Park, 2601 E. Sunset Road. The event is set to feature live music, 200 craft brews and more than 50 breweries.

Motley Brews is partnering with the Nevada Craft Brewers Association to create its first collaboration beer, Pyrite Pale Ale, which will be the official brew of the festival.

Early entry will be available at 2 p.m. for VIP ticket holders.

A portion of ticket sales will benefit the Nevada Craft Brewers Association and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas.

Guests must be 21 or older. Advance general admission tickets are $30 online, and VIP tickets are $55. Early-entry tickets are $40 in advance. Day-of-event tickets are $40 at the door for general admission, $50 for early entry and $65 for VIP.

CINCO DE MAYO FIESTA SET FOR MAY 4 AND 5 AT CANTINA LAREDO

Cantina Laredo at Tivoli Village, 430 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 110, is scheduled to host a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta May 4 and 5. Plans for the indoor-outdoor celebration include live entertainment, piñatas, raffles and food and drink specials.

The May 4 event is for adults and is scheduled from 6 p.m. to midnight. It is set to feature live bands from 6 to 9 p.m. and a live disc jockey and dance contests from 9 p.m. to midnight. Cigar rolling is also planned.

The May 5 event is for families and is schedule from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is set to feature music, pony rides, balloon artists and games.

NEVADA BLIND CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES CHEF LINEUP FOR BALL

The Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation has announced the celebrity chef lineup for its Ladybug Ball fundraiser, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 4 at Aria at CityCenter, 3730 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Chefs scheduled to prepare and present a course during the gourmet meal are Bradley Ogden, Brian Massie, Angelo Sosa and Megan Romano. A cocktail reception, silent and live auctions and live entertainment are also planned. Proceeds will support the foundation’s educational programs and services.

Guests can sample gourmet offerings and cocktails while helping to raise funds for the Nevada Restaurant Association’s scholarships and educational programs.
