Dining Pick of the Week: Anthony’s Gourmet Burgers & Brews

PICK OF THE WEEK:
ANTHONY’S GOURMET BURGERS & BREWS

The M Resort, 12300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, 702-797-1000

Burgers are America’s favorite food, and there are some gourmet burgers on display at Anthony’s. These 10-ounce certified Angus burgers are gourmet in every sense, starting with the Imperial topped with stout-braised short ribs, mushrooms, Gruyere cheese and caramelized onions. The Red Ale has a sunny-side up egg, bacon, Mornay sauce and O’Brien potatoes. The Pilsner is a classic cheeseburger with white and yellow American cheese, while the Micro has avocado, New Belgium Fat Tire tomato, goat cheese, micro greens and lemon pepper. There is a veggie burger and the Hefeweizen, which is seared chicken breast with sliced apple, baby greens, Brie cheese and marinated tomatoes. Pair these burgers with fries such as salt and pepper, garlic Parmesan, white cheddar bacon and sweet potato with maple mayo. Several salads are Caprese, Caesar, Cobb and Asian chicken with cabbage, carrots, cilantro, green onion, baby greens, peanuts and ginger-soy vinaigrette. Popular appetizers are Angus sliders, pot stickers, coconut fried shrimp, crispy wings, Ultimate potato skins and mini fish tacos. Featured desserts are peanut butter pie, red velvet cake and hot fudge sundae. Hamburgers start at $9, and appetizers begin at $7. Anthony’s Gourmet Burgers is open daily from 4 to 10 p.m. — Jack Bulavsky
