Dining Pick of the Week: Nacho Daddy

Nacho Daddy is an American grill with a Mexican flair from chef Mike Aragonez. That means 18 large high-definition televisions in a casual atmosphere with a menu that includes 60 premium tequilas. Gourmet nachos include spicy shrimp, barbecue pulled pork, supreme tostada, Thai chicken and the Nacho Average Burger with ground beef, applewood smoked bacon, red onions, queso cheese sauce, tomatoes and shredded lettuce. Featured entrees are mahi mahi tacos, fajitas, chimichurri salmon, fuego-spiced chicken, enchilada or taco trio, Daddy's Big Burrito and Sunday night prime rib ($19.95) with salad, mashed potatoes and dessert. Among the sandwiches are half-pound burgers, grilled chicken, veggie burger, fajita cheesesteak and Cuban with ham, turkey, roast pork, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions and chipotle mayo on a brioche bun. Popular salads include Mexi-Cobb with romaine, cheddar, grilled chicken, corn, cucumbers and avocado in onion thyme vinaigrette. Breakfast specialties include chorizo or Florentine omelets, waffles, pancakes and breakfast nachos. Entrees start at $6.95 and gourmet nachos at $7.95. Nacho Daddy is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. - Jack Bulavsky
